Woke up quite late today about 11pm. Sian, cuz super tired, then practice piano. Keep practicing those two pieces.
1) Chopin's Waltz in A flat major, Opus 34 no.1 (Grande Valse Brillante)
2) Chopin's Ballade no. 1 in G minor, Opus 23
These 2 pieces all very difficult, especially the Ballade in G minor. Alot of technicals need to brush up, fingerings, turns etc. And also alot of chords, those more than 3-note chords are enough to kill me. Farther more, some parts are like super fast. Got one is poco vivo, then one is Presto Con Fuoco, which means very fast like fire.
Then the Waltz is also very fast, already the title suggested the piece of how it sounds like. Grande Valse Brillante is in Italian, and in English it is translated as the Brilliant Grand Waltz. This opening tempo is Vivace, so it means very fast. So the whole song is like damn damn fast de lo. Quite difficult...
Then going to play these 2 pieces on the concert in April at Esplanade, so going to be a grand one. Learn these 2 pieces all by myself, so going like my uncle listen then he will polish up for me.
Just now go teach piano, then abit slack, cuz 1 student never come, got constipation. Then i was like diao de lo...Never mind, i practice those 2 piano pieces there, so must make use of anytime available. Cannot play play :)
